PC Notes - Current

Aramil: Druid, wizard, and weretiger, Aramil's body shows the scars of many years of torture - torture that would have killed any save a creature with regeneration. A silver spike was implanted in his skull by his unknown kidnappers. The spike caused him to lose complete control over his wereform whenever he shapeshifted. It has since been removed, along with a broken fragment of a scalpel or knife that had lodged in his sinuses. The result of so much silver in his body for so long, combined with his wereform's regenerative abilities, has left his wereform's fur streaked with silver, and his claws laced with the same. Aramil and Prince Andirion Keliveyr are as brothers, and travelled together extensively in their youth. He bears a silver ring given to him by a priest of Talamyr that negates his lycanthropy.

Aramil's teacher, Lareth, has been declared a renegade by his Druidic order, and by Fenuihl. Lareth is believed to be responsible for the murder of Kiaun and several other Elves. A recent attack on another of Lareth's students, Dara, has also created suspicions. Aramil was acting as the Fenuihl Ambassador in Overunia. However, he was replaced by another Druid, Ceinleif, when certain parties in Fenuihl spread even further suspicions. For a time, Intomel Landfriend (nominal leader of Fenuihl) sought Aramil's arrest. Later negotiations with the party severed all ties with Fenuihl, and ended open hostilities. Aramil still seeks proof of his own innocence, and a way to save his old teacher. [Played by Johnny]

Beun: A gray-skinned Kathnyri priest of Accuris (Warder), Beun hates undead with a passion bordering on fanatacism. His only companion on his long travels is a crow, an omen, named Moreth, from his god that has led him to join Willuhm, Eva, Rufio, T'arken, Donjar, and Aramil. His hatred for undead may be exceeded by his hatred of the Beast King of Ralkstag, Kadien Asrytal I. King Asrytal held Beun as a slave and... fed... on him during his captivity. The crow normally rides on Beun's shoulder, coming and going as it chooses whether indoors or out. His goals, beyond the destruction of undead and of King Asrytal are unknown.

Beun's recent near-death during a raid into Aldakar coincided with the activation of the Blood of Dargoth that Kadien Asrytal forced him to drink. Beun now exhibits many of the physical traits of the Ralkstagian Royal Family - he's grown taller, his teeth are falling out and being replaced by sharp, black fangs, and he now requires fresh blood as part of his diet. When the priest of Bael struck him down in Aldakar, his omen (Moreth) sacrificed itself to keep him from dying. With his omen's return from the Land of the Dead, It is obvious that Beun enjoys special favor from Accuris -- he is quite difficult to keep dead. [Played by John]

Donjar: The exiled son of a noble Aryan family, Donjar is tall and strong, with blue eyes and white-blonde hair. Donjar is a powerful and skilled warrior. Formerly a prisoner of the Aryan Guild for many years, Donjar was finally released when the term of his imprisonment expired (though what exactly was done to him during that time is unkown - the Guild protects its secrets). He has since made his own way in the world. Accompanied by his trusted Plains-bred steed, and a strange, wardog-like creature name Vitroli. Donjar has agreed to assist Sylin Tak in her war against Teshar. [Played by Michael]

Eva Korr'tor: A young, pale, Tiowin woman whose parents were slaughtered on an archaeological dig in the Battleplain, Eva is pursued by demons and Dread Guard alike. She believes they are after a small box of colored stones her mother gave her the night both her parents were killed. She has mentioned a protector, a Man in Black, who has twice saved her. Her companion (and possibly lover?), Willuhm, had also seen this protector. Her protector, who is now called The Man in Black, appeared in camp one night and took Eva, showing her two unholy, corrupted locations where something had been summoned. On return, her protector was obviously weakened to the point of collapse, but disappeared shortly thereafter. Eva is seeking a Ralkstagian sage, Darien, who is known for his expertise on the Ancient Empire of Tesh and may know what her parents were seeking in the Battleplain.

Eva has slowly risen to a position of authority among the Tiowin. Now, most of the Tiowin in Overunia answer directly to her. Though she still seeks information about her parents, and about her mysterious protector, she has focused more on Willuhm's memories of late. [Played by Nancy]

Willuhm: The adopted child of the Wood Witch, Azza, Willuhm is a capable warrior and skilled warlock. No one knows his origins, for his skin is almost as dark as a Ralkstagian's or Southern Islander's, yet his build could pass for that of a Freelander. He acts as Eva's protector. Most of his memories are missing due to a blow to the head he suffered as a child. He fled his forest home when Tizorn Jek arrived with Tesharan soldiers and killed his mother (though he claims she's been beheaded several times and burned at the stake as well - and reappeared some time after that). Though Ralen Sür has personally told him that Jek was ordered to pursue other activities, it is given that Jek holds a personal grudge against Willuhm.

Time and research have revealed some of the abilities of the strange, growing tattoo on Willuhm's back. It somehow allows him to store magical energy from ley lines and nodes, it grants him some sensitivity to ley line or node activity near him, and it apparently is the source of his non-detection.

Willuhm and his friends rescued a small group of kobolds during a raid into Aldakar. One or two of the kobolds can usually be found near him. [Played by Ian]

PC Notes - Past

Rufio Mir'maxa: A weaponmaster hailing from the Southern Isles, Rufio was a small, dark, wiry mercenary who has traveled extensively through Karuthea and Hybrana. Troubled by strange dreams, Rufio attached himself to T'arken though no one knows exactly why. Rufio met two of the Tesharan Dread Guard, Tizorn Jek and Ralen Sur, and was probably on good terms with them. He was seeking the last surviving heir of a human who was trained as a Dwarven Mastersmith. After finding him, and learning of an ancient weapon lost by his people many millenia ago, he parted company with the others. [Played by Brian]

T'arken Shayde: A huge, strong man of Dandrian descent, T'arken claims to be Drakken - part Dragon. A warrior of considerable skill and raw power, T'arken is searching for the rest of his siblings - a brother and sister - who were scattered when unknown enemies attacked his family. He has mentioned another sister, who lives with him in Dalkhold. He claims to be over two hundred years old, and that he and Red Shayde, the famous long ago pirate-hunter, are one and the same. Prince Andirion appears to accept his claims as truth. After learning of the assassination attempt on Kadien Asrytal, and the evidence that it was possibly one of his sisters who was the assassin, he parted company with the others to search for her. [Played by James]
