Good News!! WotC, showing the best support of our hobby yet, has made loads and loads of 2nd Edition stuff available on their website for free download. Yes, that's right: Free Download. Dig around in the D&D section and you'll find books, campaign settings, adventures, monsters, maps, and more all available for download.
Very highly recommended. Get the Expansion (see below). It's worth every penny, and then some. Contains: Mapping programs (compatible with Campaign Cartographer software), PC/NPC generators, die rollers, etc. etc. etc. A DM's treasure trove. AD&D Core Rules 2.0 Expansion CD
!2nd Edition Tool! Very highly recommended. Requires the Core Rules 2.0 CD (see above). Remember how you've always wanted all those freakin' books in HTML on a CD so you don't have to spend hours going through your private library just to create an NPC? This is the answer to many, many prayers. Improvements to many of the CR 2.0 CD features. Guardian Recommends: If you buy any TSR product this year for your 2nd Edition game, get the CR 2.0/2.0 Expansion CDs. Your life as a DM will become sooooo much easier with them. The total cost (U.S., east coast) will run about $90. for CR2.0 and the Expansion, retail. You may be able to do better on Amazon.
For CR2E, contains downloads from The Complete Book of Necromancers, sheen kits and critters out of Dragon magazine, and more.

Core Rules resources, which is pretty cool! This page exemplifies what Guardian hates most about personal RPG websites: Radical, high-bandwidth, pointless graphics; that gods-damned "I must have music on every page, with volume maxed out, and put the effing off switch at the bottom" tendency, and an organizational layout that requires you to scroll through several screensworth of material to get to menus. If it weren't for those three things, this would be an outstanding site. Makes Guardian wonder how it won all those awards it lists, although Guardian does note that none of those awards are for site design. As it is, there is some good material here. Guardian just wishes more of it was available for download other than the monsters for CR2E. The site also features an impressive array of original artwork.
Ren's Core Rules II Expansion Page
Core Rules IIE resource, and a good one! Ren has added a heck of a lot of material for the CR2E - including High Level Campaigns material, Tome of Magic, Spells and Magic, the list goes on. All of it in CR2E export format (you'll need the latest patch from the Evermore site). This site is a must visit for CR2E owners.

Hasn't been updated in nearly a year. Here's a treasure I am pleased to find: The War of Shadows. Here's a rich campaign world and description of the players' adventures that is just begging to be looked at. Very good setting, description, and plot. Check this place out!
Uncle Figgy's Guides are a must read for every gamemaster and player. This one's a real treasure, folks. Uncle Figgy goes into detail about a wide range of RPG subjects.
Free newsletter with tips and tricks of the trade. Ranges from information focused on beginners through campaign world creation. Worth subscribing simply for the nuggets of real gold that get delivered to you free via email. Site archive is also a nice touch.

Kinak's Realm also boasts a rather impressive selection of spells. Over 20 by my count, broken up into such interesting categories as Biomancy, Spirit Crystal, and Daemonic.
