Tevel

(Theocracy ?, pop. 30,000/8,000 transient) Magister Dair Artalian (?)

See also: Fenuihl | Freelands

A small city in Fenuihl, built almost entirely of wood (most of which is still living, having been shaped by Druids and Elves). The few stone buildings are mostly Dwarven-made, or built to reinforce the city's defenses. The wizards' guild sits on a node Heartstone. Tevel bosts a substantial non-Elven population that includes many Fey creatures (pixies, sprites, drakes, and the like) and a few odd creatures as well, such as an occasional Ogre Mage.

People of Note:

Master Wizard Dair Artalian Slendertree - The most powerful wizard in Fenuihl, Dair is usually away defending the Fenuihl borders from the Tesharans.

Mastersmith Jurn Ironhammer - A Dwarven Mastersmith from Chakka-Kandr, Jurn has moved his forge to Tevel to assist Fenuihl against the Tesharans.

Vrostuh

Mayor Kara Rothansdotter

Trading City, Barony of Lyrsarrion, Dandria (Feudal Monarchy)

Symbol: Stone arch and crossed spears (oak brown and cobble brown with embroidered granite arches)

Terrain: Rocky and canyons to the south (The Rough), farmland elsewhere. East, in the hills, mining and lumbering.

Vrostuh is one of two trading partners to Wayrest (the other is Hillvar), and is a major juncture for trade in the Lyrsarrion Barony. It exists mainly to support the herds of sheep that roam the hills in the west, and the fur traders that hunt the Corinian Forest to the east. A small number of mines south of Vrostuh also provide trade in minerals, ores, and some gemstones.

Wayrest

Mayor Dorran Hrothson

Trading Town, , Dandria (Feudal Monarchy)

Symbol: Oak door and brass lantern (oak brown and brass yellow)

Terrain: Flat and wet, the ground is well-suited for farming, roaming tribes of goblins from the Corinian Forest often penetrate this far.

The Way Rest Inn was originally built by an adventurer who married his way into a branch of the royal family of Ralkstag, back when this part of Dandria was still part of Ralkstag. It was a perfect location for caravans to stop on their way between Dandria and Ralkstag, so a town quickly grew up around the Inn. The Way Rest has slowly grown and been added to over the years. Unlike the rest of Dandria, magic is fairly common here and well tolerated. For this reason, Elves from the Silver Forest are frequent guests. The town sports a modified teleport ward. The ward harmlessly forces teleporters to arrive within a carefully marked and guarded circle in a former sheep pen. The only way to teleport out is also from the same circle (unless one leaves the town proper). Usually, there is a young lad or lass (a would-be warrior) guarding the circle and ensuring that new arrivals know the laws of Wayrest. The owners of the Wayrest Inn have some degree of control over the circle and can bar individuals, groups, or even entire races from using it.

Wayrest has three brothels. The mysterious owners of The Way Rest Inn also own two of them. The third is independent.

Sorin and Glendar Battlehammer, Eastern Dwarf brothers, own one of the premier weaponshops in Wayrest.
